Ray Cade is the Sussex Weald Association's Deputy Chairman (Membership & Finance) and Heathfield Branch's Secretary.
With my wife and two children, I have lived in Heathfield for the last 32 years and been involved with a number of community groups, so I know the area extremely well along with many of its residents.
For the past five years, I have been Chairman of the Heathfield & District Street & School Pastors Management Committee, which directs and supports patrols in and around the town along with School Pastors attending the Heathfield Community College.
Similarly, I am a long-term member of the Heathfield Youth Club committee, which supports and funds activities as well as being a member of the “Wealden Works” committee, which helps young people struggling to get employment.
