I have lived in and around Hailsham all my life. I love where I live and am forever grateful to have grown up in such a lovely part of our country.
I’ve worked for many years in our town’s hospitality sector, and now run my own catering business.
My daily business life affords me the great pleasure of really getting to know, and spend time talking with many of you about our local community; your hopes, and concerns for its future. I have listened carefully and that is why I am standing for election in the Hailsham West by-election on Thursday 15th August.
I believe that my successful involvement in small local businesses equips me well to contribute at Town Council on your behalf.
Saving the Great British high street is very important. Our small businesses are the vital backbone of a diverse and happy community. Ensuring that our businesses, both old and new, thrive is a key priority for me.
I am also very keen that we build on the success of the recent Conservative's Wealden Safer Streets initiative to tackle anti-social behaviour in the town; creating better sports and social opportunities for younger people is also an important part of that.
